Copper Spring

By Plano Revengers, North division last edited 7/8/2021, rest last edited 7/7/2021

The Longballs (17-3) are the best team in the league, followed by the Northwood Bears (17-3), Tallahassee Trash (17-3), and the Plano Revengers (15-4)

 Mega Trades: (coming soon)

North:

In what looked to be the worst division in the league, jeiidjdbdsudn (14-9) has gone on a 5 win streak to keep it in relavance, displaying an admirable offense in the process. GT JACKETS is right behind at 13-10 each. 2 new teams have joined the division, namely 46846846 (4-2) and the Santa Clara Slimes (1-1), which confuses the standings a little bit. jeiidjdbdsudn, has a good offense with a dismal defense and GT JACKETS are the exact opposite, with a bottom-dwelling offense and a good pitching rotation. The Allentown dads (6-17) and New York Mets (8-15) have slipping further and further down the standings, and if anyone can challenge jeiidjdbdsudn or the GT JACKETS, it are the two newcomers. Notoriously sub-average, the North looks like a race between 2 tied teams, but with its history of lackluster endings and dead team titles, anything really could happen.

South:

The inactive Northwood Bears are surprisingly high astride the top of this loaded division, with a great 17-3 record, pushing ahead and creating space behind his division rivals. Three games behind are the Santa Clarita Currents (14-6), and 5 games back are the Boston IGALOOM4LIFE (12-7). The Denver Tyrants have fallen considerably, suffering a four-game losing streak. The IGALOOM4LIFE and Currents have both been hot as of late and it would not be a surprise if one of them jumped ahead for the title, but the Bears look in control. But with such high-caliber teams right behind, three teams are still capable of pulling to the lead, so keep a close eye on this division.

East:

The best full-season franchise is the Tallahassee Trash at 17-3, who look ready to win their second Copper Spring East Division title in a row. Blood (4-1) is right behind, a late comer with a surprising record. Blood looks to be the only competition to the title so far, as the Trash are careening way ahead of division rivals Spanish and Mariners who are 10-10 and 8-12, both on 3 game losing streaks, a bit far back to be of much competition the way Trash is playing. The East is also home to the worst team in the league, the George Tech Yellow Jack, way down in the basement at 1-19.

West:

A tied divisional lead, always an exciting event, and in a great division as well! The supremely talented franchises, Barrie Slapstick and Austin Hookey FB are tied, 15-5 at the top of the standings. Barrie Slapstick just extended their 6-game winning streak with an exciting win over the number one Cambridge Longballs, and Hookey FB is on a 7-game winning streak, including a win over another top league team, the Plano Revengers. Last season's division winner, the Portsmouth Predators (10-10) have gone off fizzling with a terribly disappointing start to the season, behind the jets (9-11) and the Baton Rouge Cajuns (8-12). Right now the division seems firmly in the grasp of Slapstick and Hookey, although whoever gets it is still in the air.

Northeast:

Although historically difficult to win, this season seems to be a jockeying race for the lead in this division between only two teams. But they happen to be two of the top teams of the league, the Cambridge Longballs (17-3) and the Plano Revengers (16-4). The Revengers have by far the best offense and defense of the division, but the Longballs are proven and are entirely capable of going way past 45 wins. Only a game separate these two, but five games down are the Chattanooga Lookouts (12-8), who were one of last seasons' Wildcard semifinalists, and right underneath the Chattanooga Batmen (10-10) and the St. Paul SandMen (10-10). Right now it looks like either the Longballs or Revengers will win, but the Chattanooga teams are known for being late bloomers. Stay tuned!

Northwest:

The cambria dingleberries and the Indianapolis Old Dogs are tied on top of this division at 12-8 each. But the dingleberries on a 3 game losing streak and the Old Dogs just lost a game, so it is still wide open for teams like the bot Evgenyywi (10-10), Wichita Hawks (9-11) or Honolulu Volcanos (9-11) to sneak in for the lead. The Hawks were last year's winner, but a slow start has them under .500 and scrambling for position in this still-close division.

Southeast:

The Southeast is an interesting division even though the Anchorage Aces (15-5), the best offense in the league, are ahead by three games and have long dominated the division for the past five seasons. Bot team Evgenypim is on a scorching 7-game win streak and although maybe not capable of catching up to the Aces, are at least giving some competition.
