Power Rankings

Here are your FB Power Rankings!

  • 1. Spokane Warriors (19-1) +8
  • The perpetually powerful Spokane Warriors leap to the top of our rankings after a perfect five games. The team ERA is better than ever, a ridiculously good 2.162, which was helped by four shutouts and four undefeated starting pitchers. Although the hitting is comparatively average in the stacked Beta Compass League, the outstanding pitching and a 7-game winning streak bring the Warriors up top.

    • 2. St. John's Peace Sharks (18-2) +4

Riding an insane 18 win streak (YES that is correct, 18!), the St. John's Peace Sharks zoom to number 2 on our Power Rankings, helped by their top-notch offense (.344 team batting average) led by Brent Carlson, who is currently hitting .458 with 17 RBI and 9 homers, and Hugh Foster, who bats .375, with 26 RBI, and 12 homers. The entire starting pitching rotation is without a loss, and all in all this is the hottest team in FranchiseBall right now.

    • 3. Cincinnati Reds (18-2) -2

This legend is steamrolling though Season 99 with super slammers and amazing aces; an awesome team on all sides. The team bats .378 and boasts of a sky-high +117 +/-. Augustus Moreland currently leads the team with a BA of .421, 17 RBI, and 6 bombs. Right now the Reds are in prime form as we pass the 1/3 mark of the season.

    • 4. New York 62 Mets (19-1) 1st List Appearance

The 62 Mets are absolutely crushing their first season in FranchiseBall. They are 8.5 games ahead of the second place division rival and lead their league in ERA (2.464) and WHIP (0.887). Darwin Chance has been absurdly good this season, sporting a 0.85 ERA and a spotless 4-0 record, leading this team to its first Power Rankings appearance in a comfy fourth place position.

    • 5. Eugene Spitters (18-2) -1

Leading the loaded Beta Compass Southeast are the Eugene Spitters. Although the offense has cooled off a *little* bit, 10.2 runs per game and a .379 team batting average is nothing to sneeze about. Quinten Badillo has been on a season-long tear, hitting .433 with 23 RBI and 6 homers. The pitching is somewhat unremarkable, however, (all starting pitchers have ERA's upwards of 3.81) and although this seems to have no impact on their classic winning ways so far, the team gives up 4.7 runs per game. The offense is still blazing a path to victory every time though, so doesn't look like there's much need to worry.

    • 6. San Diego Bombers (18-2) +2

Going as great as ever, the Bombers are attacking from every inch of the field, with outstanding marks on batting (.341, 7.8 runs per game) and pitching (3.078 ERA). Four players have hit 8 homers already, led by Armando Block (.414, 27 RBI, 8 HR). The best pitcher on the team is in the bullpen, Jayden Gallardo, who also happens to be the number one pitcher in the world. Gallardo in 10 games has a 0.67 ERA, a 6-1 record, 3 saves, and 55 strikeouts, a clear candidate for every top pitching award.

    • 7. Flint Black Panthers (18-2) +4

The Flint Black Panthers have turned into a rookie Dominating Department for the ages. Currently on an 11 game winning streak and leading the league in just about everything, it doesn't seem like anything can stop them right now. On the offensive end, Kendall Aguirre is hitting .354, 23 RBI and 10 homers, while the entire starting pitching rotation all have ERA's under 2.17. They are a stellar team who looks like they can beat just about anyone right now.

    • 8. St. John's Squid (17-3) 1st List Appearance

Yes, of course, another St. John's team. Coming fresh off of a nice 32-5 blowout the Squid make their way onto our Power Rankings, led by a potent offense. Tavion Baer is hitting.341 with 22 RBI and 9 homers to lead the lineup. The Squid are a solid league contender in the notoriously difficult Ocean Star, so stay tuned!

    • 9. St. John's Codfish (18-2) -6

There must be something about St. John's that gives incredible success to its teams. It must be quite the place to be able to send not one, not two, but three teams to the Power Rankings. The Codfish have the best offense in the world, hitting a combined .422 with 10.4 runs per game, led by the marvelous Moses Ojeda, who is currently hitting an epic .532 with 34 RBI and 9 homers. The team has a +115 +/- and is as dominant as ever.

    • 10. Cambridge Longballs (17-3) -3

Racing for the lead with the Plano Revengers in the infamously challenging Copper Spring Northeast division, the Cambridge Longballs are looking to pull ahead and maybe set a few team records in the process. On track to a would-be franchise record 48 wins and a record number of strikeouts thrown, the stacked Longballs are a fearsome opponent for any team. Although a little sluggish as of late, players such as Lonnie Carrier (.342, 16 RBI,, 7 HR) and Tariq Waddell (.414, 10 RBI, 7 HR) are as potent as ever. Beware.

    • 11. Seattle Cyclones (16-4) 1st List Appearance

Anyone who leads this season's Ocean Star North deserves a spot on the Power Rankings. Ahead of the Hot Rods, polarbears, and Royals0, the Cyclones are on an 8-game winning streak. To say the roster is stacked is an understatement. Travis Sisson has an average of.337, 27 RBI, and 11 homers while Gideon Dickens is hitting .500 with 14 RBI and 10 homers, and Quincy Macias is smacking .326 with 24 RBI and 13 bombs. An elite offense backed up by an equally fearsome defense.

    • 12. Plano Revengers (16-4) 1st List Appearance

The Plano Revengers make their first Power Rankings, helped greatly by the play of Kennedy Chism, who averages a homer a game, batting .451 with 26 RBI and 11 homers. On the pitching side is Davion Pack, who is 5-0 with a 2.18 ERA. Together this team is a well-run machine that when clicking is a fearsome opponent.

    • 13. Yonkers Renegades (16-4) 1st List Appearance

The defending champs are too good to not be on this list. Way in control of their division with a supreme offense led by Esequiel Jaramillo (.344, 28 RBI, 11 HR) the Renegades are back on track so far in season 99 even though the pitching is suboptimal (4.979 ERA) Will they return to the grand stage this season? We'll have to see...

    • 14. Daly City Admirals (15-5) -4

The admirable Admirals are vying with the Spitters for division supremacy in the Beta Compass Southeast, right now 3 games back but ready to roll. Led by the excellent play of Brayden Metzger (.427, 27 RBI, 11 HR), the Admiral offense is steaming ahead with a superb .352 team average and 8.9 runs per game. Watch out, if anyone could challenge the Spitters for division mastery this season, it is this team.

    • 15. New Orleans Hot Rods (16-4) -13

Although slipping a spot in the packed Ocean Star North, the Hot Rods are still a more-than-capable team. The offense is steady but the pitching has cost them some games already. The Hot Rods are too good to stay down for long, they'll most likely be back up and running soon enough. The incredible play of Xzavier Rudolph (.420, 2 RBI, 8 HR) has been a bellweather for wins. It seems that whenever he plays good the Hot Rods win, and he often delivers.
